Nikolay Komarov

Nikolay Komarov, Ph.D. leads the firm's Government Relations practice for Russia and the CIS.

He has more than 35 years of experience across public authorities, government institutions and major international companies, including projects involving substantial capital and complex institutional stakeholders. Nikolay advises on government relations, interethnic and intergovernmental affairs, and supports clients in strategic engagement with public authorities in Russia, Belarus and other CIS jurisdictions.

Nikolay has an extensive network of senior professional contacts across Russia, Belarus and the CIS. He previously held senior roles in public and private-sector institutions, worked within federal government structures, headed the Moscow House of Nationalities and was involved in representing the interests of the Moscow Government. Nikolay holds a PhD in Psychology.
